CEO Gentle-Genitty to Present at the 114th IATDP Annual Conference in Corpus Christi

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas. Dr. Carolyn Gentle-Genitty, founder and CEO of Attendance USA, will present at the 114th Annual Conference of the International Association for Truancy and Dropout Prevention (IATDP), October 18-21, 2026, at the Omni Corpus Christi Hotel. Attendance USA presents at the conference luncheon and leads a session on Wednesday, October 21, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

IATDP is one of the oldest professional associations in education. For more than a century, it has brought together attendance officers, social workers, counselors, and school leaders who work every day to keep students in school. Dr. Gentle-Genitty is a past president of the association.

The conference comes at an important moment for the profession. States across the country are moving from court-first truancy responses toward early intervention, absence classification, and family support. Attendance professionals now carry new responsibilities, and they need new tools to meet them.

Attendance USA brings those tools to Corpus Christi: the four-category classification of absence, the PSSB© measure of school bonding, the Family Stability Index, and the Certified Attendance Professional™ credential, with advanced certifications for specialists, masters, and fellows.

“Attendance officers have always been the people who knock on the door. Attendance Science gives them what they need once the door opens.”
