Attendance USA Founder Dr. Carolyn Gentle-Genitty to Represent United States at Youth Mental Health Canada National Conference

Indianapolis, IN – May 27, 2025 – Attendance USA proudly announces that its founder, Dr. Carolyn Gentle-Genitty, who also serves as the inaugural Dean of Butler University, will present at the prestigious Youth Mental Health Canada (YMHC) 2025 National Virtual Conference: “Making Waves in School Attendance.” Dr. Gentle-Genitty will be joined by fellow Attendance USA founding member, Dr. Patricia Graczyk of Chicago, as they represent the United States on an international panel.

The panel, titled “Making Waves in School Attendance: School-Wide Strategies to Support Students with Chronic School Absenteeism,” brings together global leaders to share innovative, evidence-based solutions to one of education’s most pressing challenges. Dr. Gentle-Genitty and Dr. Graczyk will highlight effective, school-wide strategies for supporting students facing chronic absenteeism, drawing on their extensive research and practical experience.

The YMHC National Conference, taking place virtually on May 30 and 31, 2025, convenes students, parents, educators, mental health professionals, and policymakers from across Canada and beyond. The event underscores YMHC’s commitment to mental health and wellness education for resilience, positive change, and hope.
